Spirituality. One of those things that makes you go hummm...

I have an amazing group of women in my life that I get together with once a week to connect and talk. Last night we got together and saw the movie "The Shack". This was an amazing movie about spending time with God. I am not a religious person and I do not define myself by religion. However, I do have an amazing relationship with God or my safe term to not offend anyone "the Universe". If you are stuck in a journey of trying to find your purpose and spirituality this movie may help. I was so very emotionally connected to this movie that my body was shaking and the vibration of purpose was filling me up during portions of it.

Spirituality is defined as "the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things". I define it as oneness, connection, empathy, compassion and to love without judgement. Many people come to me to be more connected to themselves and others. Reiki is a great way to be connected but there are so many other things that help that as well. Prayer for one. Prayer is focused attention on something. This is in alignment with religion and Law of Attraction and it is also very helpful in setting personal declarations. You do not need to be religious to pray and surrender to something more than yourself.

Being human can be hard, lonely, and scary. I feel that we are not meant to go through life alone and that we are all connected. I think that it is up to us as individuals to choose if we want to find it in ourselves and/or someone else.

Take a moment today and see how you are connected to your spirituality. Sometimes this is not easy to do. There can be beliefs and emotions that can get in the way of this connection. Ask for help if you need to. You will be thankful that you did. If you have no one to ask for help, then reach out to me. I've been told I have a good ear.

In Happiness,

Jessica Jansen
